SOTO HORUS SOLO T/C" is the first tent released by SOTO, we who have been making outdoor fire items for a long time.

SOTO, which has specialized in flame design, has newly developed a tent that can be used for fire. HORUS is the god of the sky, looking up at the sky with a fire burning in a private space.

As is widely known, the use of firearms inside a tent is undesirable from a safety standpoint. In an enclosed space, carbon monoxide produced by combustion cannot escape, and various hazards are assumed, such as burns, fire hazards, and damage to the curtain.

Nevertheless, outdoor enthusiasts have long been asking if they could cook inside their tents. It seems a little sad that the only function of a tent, which serves as a dwelling place for those who enjoy living in the outdoors, is to provide a place to sleep. We can sympathize with the desire to enjoy cooking and bonfires, which are the true pleasures of the outdoors, in a tent.

As a company that specializes in fire, we at SOTO wondered if we could create a rich experience using fire in a tent environment. It was with this in mind that the development of the SOTO HORUS SOLO T/C began.

The curtain material used for SOTO HORUS SOLO T/C is "T/C". The reason for using T/C was to obtain flame resistance for fire, but T/C has many other advantages: T/C is an ideal fabric for the camping scene, combining the flame resistance, durability, and light shielding properties of cotton with the moisture permeability, water resistance, and easy handling properties of polyester in a well-balanced manner.

We also place great emphasis on achieving resistance to moisture, the great enemy of fire.

When T/C material is exposed to water, the difference in elasticity between polyester and cotton fibers when wet causes the grain of the fabric to tighten to prevent water from entering, a simple mechanism, but the density of the fabric and the quality of the sewing can make a big difference in quality.

We carefully selected uncompromisingly high quality T/C material and developed this product by sparing no detail in technology to make the best use of the material.

In designing the SOTO HORUS SOLO T/C, we aimed to create a highly flexible design that can be pitched in a variety of ways. Although it is a simple one-pole tent and camp curtain set, the design allows the expression and role of the tent to change dramatically depending on the way it is pitched.

How can we enjoy the flames inside the tent?　This question was the result of our research and development.
For the safety of fire use, it is necessary to provide sufficient openings. An opening other than the tent entrance is a weak point against external factors such as rain and wind, but a minimal ventilation does not provide a safe environment for enjoying a fire. Facing this dilemma, we boldly designed a curtain that can be transformed into a fire-use form.

By incorporating a style that opens the skylight overhead, the variations in the way the SOTO HORUS SOLO T/C can be staked out have expanded dramatically. You can enjoy tensioning in your own original style by opening and closing the zippers and making full use of the poles, tension ropes, and other parts.

The SOTO HORUS SOLO T/C is a unique camping tent that can be used in a wide variety of camping situations, thanks to its T/C material and deformation mechanism.

It is set up based on a deformed hexagonal base, but the lack of a bottom allows for a more flexible pitching style, with enough space for two adults to sleep. Depending on how you flip up the walls, it can be used as a sunshade tarp, an encampment, or a living room with a roof.

The camp curtain is also attractive. In the enclosed tent mode, it is an integral part that serves as a wall surface, but it is also a gimmick for fire-use mode and campfires.

The high camp curtain, which can be separated from the walls, creates a space to enjoy a campfire to the fullest while protecting against strong winds and privacy. The set includes not only a curtain but also a high-standard camp curtain, which was designed to meet your own unique enjoyment needs.

It seems that the guests are enjoying the structure of the transformable curtain, which gently connects the inside and the outside. Families with children will enjoy the unique experience of stretching out the tent and opening the skylight to look up at the sky, with a sense of privacy and openness.
