Material
  • Designed for cold temperatures, the Runton is insulative, waterproof and moisture-wicking. Hydrostop™ reinforces waterproofness, ensuring water does not trickle down the leg into the sock. A premium merino wool interior, with terry-loop knitting, has excellent thermal properties. Merino wool absorbs moisture away from the body, ensuring breathability. An engineered nylon blend exterior has similar moisture-wicking properties, highlighting the cohesiveness of fabrics within the garment. The Runton’s Aquaselaz™ membrane is 100% waterproof, sitting in the mid-section of the sock. Essential for cold, wet weather pursuits: hiking, trekking, mountain biking. The Runton is a relative of the Starston.

Activities
  • Hydrostop™ is an elastic taping around the inside cuff of the sock. This extra barrier reduces the risk of water dripping down the leg into the sock.
Wash Instructions
  • We don’t like complicated things. And when it comes to the care of your socks, we want to make it as simple as possible. This is the type of sock you can throw in the wash along with the rest of your gear. No need to line dry or wash with special detergents. Since the membrane is a solid barrier, you’ll never need to re-waterproof.
  • Wash at 40ºC/105ºF 
  • Low Tumble Dry or Drip Dry 
  • Do Not Dry Clean, Iron, or Bleach
