Samaya OPTI1.5

The Opti 1.5 tent from Samaya does not come with poles. Instead, you will need to pitch it with one or two pairs of walking or ski poles. Adjustable-length poles and foldable poles or fixed-length walking poles are suitable for this purpose. For the basic set-up, place one pole at the head and one at the feet. Using additional poles offers extra comfort.

Thanks to the Dyneema material and the functional Nanovent technology, the 1-2 person tent only weighs 700 g. It can be compressed to a volume of 3.2 litres, making it significantly more compact and lighter than many other tents. The tent floor has a hydrostatic head of 20,000 mm, while the tent itself has a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm. This offers outstanding weather protection. With the 40,000 g/m²/24h breathability, the tent will let moisture escape to the outside.

DYNEEMA® FLOOR

Samaya has opted for Dyneema® composite flooring for its tents because of its exceptional properties. This laminated textile consists of monofilaments of UHMWPE fiber and two layers of Mylar®.

Dyneema® filaments superimposed at 90° ensure the fabric's high mechanical strength and limit tearing in the event of perforation. The two layers of Mylar® reinforce strength and abrasion resistance, while providing an unprecedented 20,000 mm of waterproofing. In addition to its performance, this material is easily repairable, helping to extend the life of Samaya equipment.
