The resistant material of Petromax Wrought Iron Pans can reach very high temperatures. The excellent heat conductivity passes the heat of the pan directly on to the food and provides for an inimitable frying experience of meat, fish and vegetables. Wrought iron is not only incredibly long-lasting, but its quality also increases with each use! A self-sealing, protective layer forms on the unique surface structure already with the first use. This patina, characteristic of wrought iron pans, further develops with each use. The surface of the pan becomes darker, sturdier and makes the Petromax pan an indispensable companion in the kitchen. It’s now possible to easily roast, fry and braise without the food sticking to the pan.
